Chief Financial Officer - National Branch
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for:
-
Maintaining, managing and bolstering a team with various financial foci
-
Facilitating effective communication within and between the finance team and the organization-wide Steering Committee through bi-weekly meetings (at a minimum)
-
Ensuring timely completion and proper management of COUHR tax filing, budgetary tracking, financial documentation and fund seeking
-
Increasing credibility, brand awareness and community presence of COUHR by seeking recognition and financial support for COUHR by big name corporate establishments and sparking long-term partnerships (sponsorships) with such companies.

Establishing long-term partnerships with Canadian charities
-
Seeking and applying for grant opportunities on behalf of COUHR at the regional level, as well as assisting COUHR Local Branches with local funding opportunities.

Assist in ensuring that COUHR values are reflected in organizational developments and following the SMART model

Chief Marketing Officer - National Branch
The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for:

Maintaining, managing and bolstering a team with various outreach initiatives
-
Facilitating effective communication within and between the marketing team and the organization-wide Steering Committee through bi-weekly meetings (at a minimum)
-
Collaboration with the Chief Recruitment Officer and local COUHR branches to enable effective outreach for recruitment of COUHR volunteers
-
Collaboration with the Chief Communications Officer in regards to Public Relations (PR) roles with external stakeholders (i.e., Research Institutes, Underrepresented Community Leaders, School Boards)

Collaboration with the Chief Digital Design/Development Officer to effectively market all infographics produced by the CDDO’s sub-committee.

Increasing credibility, brand awareness and community presence of COUHR by maintaining a social media presence and distributing information on COUHR events and opportunities

Assist in ensuring that COUHR values are reflected in organizational developments and following the SMART model

COUHR Toronto - VP Marketing
A successful candidate is expected to:

Develop marketing campaigns, print communications, and other brand materials (merch, “yearbook”, etc.) to create greater brand awareness

Develop marketing strategies towards the freshmen cohort (including rules & regulations)

Infographic and Graphic Development
COUHR Toronto - VP Partnerships
A successful candidate is expected to:
-
Seek partnerships opportunities with Toronto and external organizations for any potential initiatives
-
Serve as the primary spokesperson to act upon partnership inquiries through social media
-
Maintain and monitor relationships with COUHR partners & audience. Ensure the necessary programs, special events, public announcements, and other projects are tailored to such relationships
COUHR Toronto - VP Finance
A successful candidate is expected to:
-
Consistently manage the budget and track all cash flows for the long-term viability of all operations of COUHR
-
Generate budget sheets when required for reports or applications
-
Obtain sponsorships and maintain relationships
-
Help develop sponsorship packages, speaker packages, promotional giveaways, and door prizes (based on the budget)

Keep track of funds and communicate with other VPs to ensure the availability of funding for events, expenses, etc…
-
Report the budget’s status after finishing an event
COUHR Toronto - VP Events
A successful candidate is expected to:
-
Be responsible for the logistics of COUHR’s events including booking event rooms, sending links to events, managing the budget for events, and overseeing the acquisition and management of any external supplies needed for the events

Attend and bring ideas to COUHR executive meetings
COUHR Toronto - President
A successful candidate is expected to:

Develop a yearly plan for COUHR Toronto

Assign tasks to all members
-
Maintain constant and effective communication throughout the organization

Attend national meetings
-
Present ideas and opportunities to the members in order to promote the organization

Maintain club status
